Deanne M. Greco's practice focuses on corporate law and securities regulation, representing companies at various stages of corporate development. The matters she handles include:

A significant portion of Ms. Greco's practice is devoted to corporate financing, and she has represented several companies in obtaining equity and debt financing, including Musicland Stores Corporation, Funco, Inc., Rural Cellular Corporation, HEI, Inc., and 2nd Swing, Inc. She has also helped several companies develop and adopt stock compensation plans and shareholder rights plans. Ms. Greco also assists publicly held companies in complying with their reporting obligations under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and has represented broker/dealer firms with respect to public and private offerings. In each case, she applies her skills as a writer to clarify ideas and prepare appropriate documents.
Ms. Greco believes that it is critical to keep clients informed of various legal developments that impact their business, but it is also important to be attentive and responsive to the clients' particular needs. Accordingly, she focuses on communicating with clients regarding their obligations and responsibilities while helping them meet their goals.
In addition to her corporate/securities practice, Ms. Greco is also a certified neutral with the State of Minnesota.
Ms. Greco has served as Chair of the Executive Council of the Business Law Section and also as Chair of the Securities Committee of the Minnesota Bar Association (MSBA). In addition, Ms. Greco has served as a faculty member and program co-chair for several programs sponsored by Minnesota Continuing Legal Education, the MSBA and the Minnesota Institute of Legal Education, focusing on securities law and practice. Ms. Greco has also served as President and Director of both the Legal Aid Society of Minneapolis and Mid-Minnesota Legal Assistance, Inc.
Immediately following her graduation from law school, Ms. Greco served as a judicial clerk for Associate Justice Lawrence R. Yetka of the Minnesota Supreme Court.
In 2005, Ms. Greco served as President and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Ordway Circle of Stars, a nonprofit corporation dedicated to fundraising for the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts programs to introduce school children to the performing arts.
