Biographies
Cindy J. Ackerman practices law in the areas of estate planning, probate, trust and taxation law. Ms. Ackerman represents individual and corporate clients in a variety of matters, including:
Ms. Ackerman understands that many of these issues can be difficult and strives to guide her clients through these complicated situations with sensitivity and professional insight. Ms. Ackerman is co-author of Minnesota Estate Administration (1991), Minnesota Estate Administration, Second Edition (2001), and Minnesota Trust Administration, Second Edition (2005), all published by the Minnesota State Bar Association Continuing Legal Education. She has also reviewed forms for the Minnesota Continuing Legal Education Probate Forms Committee. In addition, she has taught probate courses at the Minnesota Paralegal Institute and the Institute for Paralegal Education, a Division of NBI, Inc. Ms. Ackerman is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive). She is a member of Minnesota Women Lawyers, the American Bar Association, the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Wisconsin State Bar Association and the Hennepin County Bar Association.
