Biographies

Edward J. Blomme practices in the areas of business and corporate law.  Mr. Blomme has over 30 years of experience representing and advising closely held corporations and other limited liability business organizations.  He has extensive experience with most phases of business organizations, including:

• Capitalization of start-up companies
• Financial and other commercial transactions involving business organization and their owners, officers and directors
• Mergers and acquisitions
• Minority shareholder disputes and litigation
• Sales and liquidations

Mr. Blomme concentrates approximately half of his practice in acquisitions, mergers and perpetuation planning involving insurance agencies and brokers.  He advises agencies and brokers on the tax aspects of their operations and on other insurance law-related matters.

Mr. Blomme serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Minnesota State Bar Foundation and as a member of its Investment Committee.
