Biographies
Michael Gerould is a member of the litigation practice group and has provided services for matters involving labor and employment, creditors' remedies, commercial transactions, construction and a variety of other areas. Michael believes that the most effective way to practice law is through a proactive approach, by providing clients with the guidance and information necessary to avoid potential liability. With that philosophy in mind, Michael participated in drafting a facilitation manual and related materials for use in preparing managers to deal with situations surrounding violence in the workplace, and also participated in drafting materials for the "Team Up" program, which is used in advising Minnesota High School coaches on managing risk and avoiding liability. In addition, Michael has counseled employers and presented on issues related to current updates in employment law, creating and maintaining personnel files, drafting effective policies for employee handbooks, and implementing management and employee training programs that work.
