Moss & Barnett Law Firm Announces New Shareholders

Moss & Barnett is pleased to announce that Jana Aune Deach, Elizabeth H. Kiernat, Michael S. Poncin and James J. Vedder have become shareholders in the firm.

Deach and Vedder practice in the area of family law, assisting clients in a variety of matters including child support and spousal maintenance, custody settlement and litigation, business valuations, complex litigation and settlement of marital and non-marital assets and premarital agreements.

Kiernat practices in the area of real estate. She provides counsel to individuals, developers and business owners on property acquisitions, sales development and financing and leasing. Kiernat also has significant experience in multifamily housing finance, including the resale of loans to Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (Freddie Mac).

Poncin focuses his practice in civil litigation, having significant experience in the defense of creditors, debt buyers, debt collectors and attorneys in actions arising under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), class actions and other federal and state laws and regulations. Poncin also represents clients in commercial collections and in general contract and litigation matters.
