Tom Shroyer Recertified as a Civil Trial Specialist by MSBA

Tom Shroyer, a member of Moss & Barnett's litigation practice area, has been recertified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the Minnesota State Bar Association. Tom has been MSBA certified as a Civil Trial Specialist since 1988. This certification makes him one of a limited number of attorneys in Minnesota to have earned this credential.

A civil trial specialist is an attorney who has completed a rigorous approval process to establish full qualification for reliable experience and skills as a specialist in their practice area. It is earned by successfully completing a day-long examination, demonstrating a substantial level of experience and legal education in trial skills, passing a disciplinary check and successfully obtaining objective review by judges and attorneys who have actually seen the attorney in court appearances. Compliance with certification standards is audited every year. Every six years the specialist must be recertified to ensure that the attorney has maintained his expertise. Tom is also the firm's President and Chief Executive Officer. He has been voted as a "Super Lawyer" and one of the "Top 40 in Business Litigation" by his peers in Minnesota Law & Politics and has been recognized by preferred organizations such as Who's Who in American Law and Leading American Attorneys.
