Shannon L. Day is a paralegal at Moss & Barnett, practicing in the area of Intellectual Property. Ms. Day assists the firm's attorneys with the preparation, filing and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patent applications. Ms. Day is the patent docket clerk and is responsible for the maintenance of the patent department database.

Ms. Day has extensive experience assisting attorneys and clients in:

• Preparing, filing and prosecuting domestic and foreign patent applications
• Preparing Declaration and Assignment documents
• Preparing Information Disclosure Statements
• Conducting electronic prior art searches
• Drafting correspondence to the USPTO and foreign patent offices

Ms. Day's docket clerk duties include:

• Docketing all USPTO and foreign patent office correspondence, office actions and related matters
• Updating database and monitoring patent deadlines
• Payment of annuities/maintenance fees
• Maintaining CPI patent docketing system
